James drops 42, as Lakers sink Spurs

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night. The Lakers won 121-113 over the Spurs at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The Lakers improved to 15-9 on the season. They are now 10-4 at home.

Los Angeles has won four straight games. They will go for their fifth straight on Friday night against the Spurs.

The Spurs fell to 11-14 on the season. They dropped to 4-10 on the road.

San Antonio dropped its last two games. They will attempt to stop it against the Lakers in one day.

LeBron James led the Lakers with 42 points. He also had five rebounds, six assists, and two steals.

This is James’ third 40 points or more performance on the season. He dropped 44 points against the Trail Blazers in a 126-117 win on November 14th.

He also scored a season-high 51 points against the Miami Heat in a 113-97 win on November 18th.

James was one of four Los Angeles players, who scored double-digits. Kyle Kuzma had 22 points, while Lonzo Ball added 14 and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope contributed 12 points.

The Lakers had 30 points. Caldwell-Pope led the bench with 12 points. He also had seven rebounds and one steal.

DeMar DeRozen led the team with 32 points. He had seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

This was DeRozen’s second 30-plus-point performance of the month. He also scored a season-high 36 points against the Portland Trail Blazers in a 131-118 win on Sunday, December 2nd.

He was one of three San Antonio players, who scored in double-figures. Rudy Gay finished with 31, while LaMarcus Aldridge dropped 21.

The Spurs had 25 bench points. Davis Bertans led the bench with nine points. He also had one rebound, one assist, and one steal.
