The Washington Redskins have another problem on their hands. Recently, the team had to deal with backlash after claiming linebacker Reuben Foster off waivers following a domestic violence incident.
Now, Redskins safety Montae Nicholson allegedly attacked a man early Tuesday morning. The 23-year-old Columbus, Ohio native was arrested and charged with assault and battery, along with being drunk in public.
The alleged incident happened in Loudoun County, Virginia. Sydney Maggiore — who was with Nicholson at the time of the incident — was also arrested and charged.

“We are gathering more information and will not comment until we have further details,” Redskins spokesman Tony Wyllie said.
The authorities responded to a report of a fight at the zone Loudoun shopping center in Ashburn. The incident happened around 2 am.
The sheriff’s office found the victims on the 20400 block of Exchange Street. The victims told the police that a man and woman had assaulted them.
During their investigation, it was determined that Nicholson had allegedly assaulted the man. The female allegedly threw a bottle at the woman.
Maggiore also allegedly assaulted the man. After leaving briefly, they returned to the scene while the authorities were on the scene.
The incident reportedly began when Nicholson and Maggiore allegedly honked the horn at them. Then things became physical. At this time, it is not clear if the parties knew each other.

Nicholson — who may be released after this incident — had a bond of $2,500 after being placed in jail. Maggiore has no bond.
She is being charged with assault and battery, along with malicious wounding.
The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
