Blue Devils uses 20-5 run to beat the Red Raiders

Madison Square Garden is the World’s most famous Arena. On Thursday night, it featured several players, who will have a future at the Arena at the next level.

The No. 2 Duke Blue Devils defeated No. 12 Texas Tech Red Raiders, 69-58.

The Blue Devils improves to 11-1 on the season. Duke will not play again until after the New Year.

The Red Raiders suffered its first loss of the season. Texas Tech fell to 10-1 with the loss.

The Blue Devils used their defense to hold the Red Raiders to 29 points in each half. After trailing 29-28 at halftime, Duke scored 41 points in the second half.

The Durham, North Carolina-based school ended the game on a 20-5 run.

Zion Williamson led the Blue Devils with 17 points in the game. He also had 13 rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block.

Williamson was one of three Duke players, who scored in double-figures. R.J. Barrett scored 16 and Tre Jones added 13.

The Blue Devils had 10 bench points. Jack White led the bench with 8 points. He also had five rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks.

Jarrett Culver led the Red Raiders with 25 points. He also had six rebounds, two steals, and one block.

Culver was the only Red Raiders player, who scored in double-figures.

Texas Tech had 10 bench points. Kyler Edwards led the bench with six points, six rebounds, two assists, and one block.
