Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota left Saturday’s game against the Washington Redskins with an injury. He left late in the second quarter.
Mariota has been replaced by backup Blaine Gabbert, who closed out the first half. If Mariota is not able to return, Gabbert will finish the game.
According to the team, his injury is being considered a stinger. He is dealing with an injury in his shoulder, according to NFL Network’s Melissa Stark.

The injury happened with the Redskins leading 10-6 with 54 seconds left in the game. He was injured when Jonathan Allen tackled him to the ground.
Mariota went 10 of 13 for 110 yards before leaving the game.
The 25-year-old Honolulu, Hawai’i native has gone 6-6 in 12 starts this season. He has made 13 appearances on the season.
Mariota has gone 228 for 331 for 2,528 yards. He also has 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
Mariota missed time earlier this season after being injured against the Miami Dolphins in the season-opener. Gabbert started the next two games as the Hawai’ian was sidelined.
The 29-year-old Ballwin, Missouri native went 2-0 this season in his two starts. He has appeared in six games.

Gabbert has gone 36 of 61 for 360 yards before appearing in Saturday’s game. He has two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Gabbert’s best game of the season came in Week 11 against the Indianapolis Colts in a 38-10 loss. He went 11 of 16 for 118 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
