The Sun Devils improved to 9-2 on the season. Arizona State is a perfect 6-0 at home this season.
The Jayhawks fell to 10-1 on the season. This was their first away game of the season.
In addition, they were just the second top-ranked team to play in the Wells Fargo Arena.
Rob Edwards led the Sun Devils with 15 points off the bench. He also had four rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block.
Edwards was one of five Arizona State players, who scored in double-digits. Zylan Cheatham and Luguentz Dort scored 13 points each. Romello White added 11, while Remy Martin contributed 10 points.
Edwards previously had a season-high 14 points, which he did twice, including against the Vanderbilt Commodores in a 81-65 loss on December 17th. He also had 14 points in the season-opener on November 6th against the CSU Fullerton Titans in a 102-94 win in double overtime.
The Sun Devils had 26 bench points.
Dedric Lawson led the Jayhawks with 30 points. He also had 14 rebounds, one assist, and one block.
The 30-points were the most for Lawson in a game this season. His previous high was 28 points against then No. 17 Villanova Wildcats in a 74-71 win on December 15th.
Lawson was one of three Kansas players, who scored in double-digits. Lagerald Vick had 14 and Devon Dotson added 12.
The Jayhawks had five bench points. Charlie Moore led the bench with three points, while also having one rebound and two steals.
