Memphis Tigers hires Adam Fuller as Defensive Coordinator

Adam Fuller has been named the Memphis Tigers Defensive Coordinator. He replaces Chris Ball, who completed his third season as the Tigers Defensive Coordinator in 2018.
Ball has been hired as the new Northern Arizona Lumberjacks head coach. He replaced Jeremy Souers, who retired following the season.

This is his first job as a Division I FBS Defensive Coordinator. He had been the Marshall Thundering Herd’s Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Line/Special Teams Coach since the 2013 season.
Prior to being hired by the Thundering Herd, he was the Chattanooga Mocs Defensive Coordinator from 2009 through 2012. He also spent one season as the Assumption Greyhounds Head Coach.
As the Greyhounds head coach, he guided the team to a 1-9 record. Their lone win came against the Saint Anselm Hawks, 16-7, on September 27th.
He also served as a Defensive Assistant with the Richmond Spiders from 2005 through 2007. He also was the Wagners Seahawks Co-Defensive Coordinator from 1999 through 2004.
Fuller began his coaching career with the WPI Engineers Linebackers Coach in 1998.
