The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to make several changes this off-season. One of the big changes is that the team is expected to part ways with running back Leonard Fournette.

Fournette is not the only one, who will leave the organization after this season. The team is also expected to release Defensive Tackle Malik Jackson.

He completed the third-year of a six-year, $85.5 million deal he signed with the team. By releasing Jackson, the team will be hit with a $4 million cap hit.

With the move, the Jaguars would not be responsible for paying him the final three-years of his contract. He was expected to make $40.5 million in those three seasons, but Jackson would have to make it elsewhere now.
The 28-year-old Northridge, California native appeared in 16 games last season, including 10 starts. He had 37 tackles, including seven tackles for a loss, and 12 quarterback hits.
He also had 3.5 sacks, and one pass deflection.
The 3.5 sacks were the fewest in a season for Jackson since the 2014 season when he had a career-low 3.0 sacks.
One year ago in 2017 when he helped guide the Jaguars to the AFC Conference Championship game before losing to the New England Patriots, he had 40 tackles, including 10 tackles for a loss and 11 quarterback hits.
Jackson had a career-high 8.0 sacks with fo8r forced fumbles and three pass deflections.
