The Tampa Bay Buccaneers has hired Bruce Arians as their new head coach. He replaces former Dirk Koetter, who was fired by the team after the season.

Arians comes out of retirement with this move. He retired from coaching in the NFL last January after being the Arizona Cardinals head coach.

The offensive-minded coach has received a four-year deal by the Buccaneers. He also has a fifth-year option.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Buccaneers acquired Arians rights and a 2019 seventh-round draft pick after the Cardinals argued with the league about compensation since Arians was still under contract with them. Arizona is receiving a 2019th sixth round pick from the Bucs.
