According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, new Arizona Cardinals Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury called 2018 first-round draft pick Josh Rosen “an extremely talented thrower.” Kingsbury was hired by the Cardinals this week.
The Cardinals used the 10th overall selection on Josh Rosen in the 2017 NFL Draft. Arizona hired Kingsbury because he is an offensive genius, who primarily worked in College Football before being hired by the Cardinals.
Before he could even take this position, he had to resign from being the USC Trojans Offensive Coordinator, who hired him in December. The Cardinals are helping Kingsbury pay his $150,000 buyout with the Trojans.

Arizona has the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The team went 3-13 and he has publicly said that he would trade Oklahoma Sooners Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Kyler Murray with the top pick if he could.
The 21-year-old Torrance, California native took over the reins as the Cardinals starting quarterback in Week 3. He replaced Sam Bradford, who signed with the team last off-season to be the starter and serve as the mentor.
He went 4 of 7 for 36 yards in the 16-14 loss to the Chicago Bears. He also had an interception.
Rosen made 14 appearances with 13 starts in 2018. He went 3-10 as the starter. He went 217 of 393 for 2,278 yards. He also had 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

His best yardage game of the season came in an 18-15 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 8. He went 23 of 40 for 252 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.
That was not his best touchdown game of the season. In a Week 11 23-21 loss to the Oakland Raiders, he went 9 of 20 for 136 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions.
