The Boston College Eagles hires Mike Bajakian as the team’s new Offensive Coordinator. He replaces Scot Loeffler, who became the Bowling Green Falcons head coach after the season.
Loeffler was the Eagles Offensive Coordinator for three seasons.
The River Vale, New Jersey native spent the past four seasons as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Quarterbacks Coach. He worked with Lovie Smith in his final season, before working the last three seasons under Dirk Koetter.
Bajakian was not retained by new Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians. The new Buccaneers leader hired Clyde Christensen to be the team’s Quarterbacks Coach.
Arians and Christensen previous were on the staff together at Temple and again with the Indianapolis Colts.
He was the Tennessee Volunteers Offensive Coordinator in 2013 and 2014.
He also served as the Cincinnati Bearcats Offensive Coordinator from 2010 through 2012. He also was the Central Michigan Chippewas Offensive Coordinator from 2007 through 2009.
Bajakian was the Chicago Bears Offensive Quality Control Coach from 2004 through 2006. He was the Chippewas Quarterbacks Coach in 2002 and 2003.
He also served as the Michigan Wolverines Graduate Assistant in 2000 and 2001. He was the Sacred Heart Pioneers Quarterbacks Coach in 2000.
He was a Graduate Assistant with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in 1998 and 1999. He was the Delbarton School Wave Quarterbacks Coach in 1996 and 1997.
