Green Bay Packers hires Nathaniel Hackett as Offensive Coordinator

The Green Bay Packers has hired Nathaniel Hackett as the team’s new Offensive Coordinator. He is the first hire, according to Football Scoop, by first-year head coach Matt LaFleur.

The first-year Packers head coach has his Coordinator positions filled. He also retained Defensive Coordinator Mike Pettine.

Hackett was fired by the Jacksonville Jaguars in November by his close friend Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone. He was the Jaguars Offensive Coordinator from 2016 through 2018.

He was the Jaguars Quarterbacks Coach in 2015 and 2016. He was the Buffalo Bills Offensive Coordinator in 2013 and 2014.

Hackett was also the Syracuse Orange Offensive Coordinator in 2011 and 2012. He was the Orange Quarterbacks Coach and Tight Ends Coach in 2010.

He was the Bills Offensive Quality Control Coach in 2008 and 2009. He was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Offensive Quality Control Coach in 2006 and 2007.

Hackett was the Stanford Cardinal Recruiting Coordinator in 2005. He was the Cardinal’s Coordinator’s Assistant in 2004.

He also was the Cardinal Offensive Assistant in 2003. He also was the UC Davis Aggies Assistant Linebackers Coach in 2003.
