The Dallas Cowboys has prompted Kellen Moore to Offensive Coordinator. He replaces Scott Linehan, who parted ways with the team in the middle of January.
Moore moved from the team’s Quarterbacks Coach role to being an offensive coordinator for the first time. The Cowboys have also hired Jon Kitna to replace Moore as the Quarterbacks Coach.
Kitna joined the team after previously being named the San Diego Fleet Offensive Coordinator in the Alliance of American Football. He never coached a team for the Fleet after being hired.
Linehan was criticized after the Cowboys play calling late in the season and the playoffs. Head coach Jason Garrett said after the loss to the Los Angeles Rams, he didn’t expect any personnel changes.
However, after four days later, Linehan and the Cowboys decided to part ways.
