New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley has won the Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year. He beat out Cleveland Brown quarterback Baker Mayfield, among others, for this award.
Barkley will receive the award on Saturday night at the NFL Honors in Atlanta, Georgia. He also won a beat that the two players (Barkley and Mayfield) had.

The bet was the loser has to buy the winner a chain.
This is the second-straight year that a running back has won this award. One year ago, New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara won the award.
In addition, Barkley is the second Giants player to win this award since the 2010 season. Odell Beckham Jr. won the award after the 2014 season.
The 21-year-old Bronx, New York native started all 16 games for the Giants. He had 261 carries for 1,307 yards and 11 touchdowns.
He also had 91 receptions for 721 yards and four touchdowns.
