Auto Club of Southern California Funny Car pilot Robert Hight is the No. 1 qualifier. He is the first Funny Car pilot to capture the No. 1 qualifier of the new season.
Hight went 3.871 at 329.67 mph to get the top spot at the 59th annual Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com on Saturday. Hight’s qualifying pass from Friday night held up after Saturday’s two qualifying sessions.
