NBA All-Star Saturday to feature drag racing programming

In January, several NHRA stars were at zMAX Dragway in Concord, North Carolina with the NBA on TNT crew. The NHRA stars included John Force, Brittany Force, Erica Enders-Stevens, and Antron Brown. 

The drag racing programming will feature Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley, as they will lead teams in a drag racing competition. It is called the All-Star Motor Sports Challenge.

Besides Barkley and O’Neal, the TNT personalities, who were in attendance, were Kenny Smith, Baron Davis, Ernie Johnson, Chris Webber, Reggie Miller, Candace Parker, and Kristen Ledlow. Barkley’s team and O’Neal’s team faced off in an hour-long competition. 

The drag racing competition will air at 5 pm EST before an interview with Kevin Garnett and Dwyane Wade at 6 pm. TNT will go live with Johnson, Barkley, Smith, and O’Neal at the arena at 7 pm. 

All Star Saturday night begins at 8 pm. All-Star Saturday night will include slam dunk contest, three-point contest, along with the skills competition. 

The NBA All-Star weekend is in Charlotte, North Carolina this weekend. The Spectrum Center will feature events from Friday through Sunday, including the All-Star Game Sunday night featuring players from Team LeBron and Team Giannis.
