San Francisco Giants CEO Larry Baer is facing some heat on Friday. TMZ posted a video of Baer having an argument with his wife in a public park.
His wife was screaming, as she fell to the ground. Those who witnessed the incident between Baer and his wife Pam, head the loud exchange around noon local time. In the video, Baer went over to his wife — who was sitting down — to attempt to get a phone out of her hand.
Pam refused to give up the phone. As a result, as the two were having their altercation, she said ‘Oh my God. Help!’ before falling to the ground.
Once Pam fell to the ground, Baer walked away with the phone in his hand. In addition, he told her to ‘Stop. Pam. Stop.’
The authorities were not called to the scene. The person — who shot the video — told TMZ they helped break up the incident.
“Major League Baseball is aware of the incident and, just like any other situation like this, will immediately begin to gather the facts,” MLB said in a statement. “We will have no further comment until this process is completed.”
Baer and his wife have four children together. In addition, both are reportedly members of the Congregation Emanu-El in San Francisco.
He took over as the Giants CEO on Jan. 1, 2012 when he replaced Bill Neukom.
