Ravens restricted FA Collins arrested in Baltimore

Running back Alex Collins was involved in a car accident on Friday morning. The Baltimore Ravens restricted free agent was arrested following the crash in Baltimore, Maryland. 

The details are not clear at this time. However, what we do know, is that the incident happened before 7 am.

He was then taken into custody when the car crashed into a tree. It is not clear if Collins was the driver or the passenger at the time of the crash. 

It is not clear if he’ll return to the team in 2019. He had a disappointing 2018 season.

The 24-year-old Fort Lauderdale, Florida native was the Seattle Seahawks fifth-round draft pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He has spent the last two seasons with the Ravens after playing one season with the Seahawks.

 Collins had 114 carries for 411 yards and seven touchdowns in 10 starts this past season. He also had 15 receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown.

 In Baltimore, he appeared in 25 games with 22 starts. He had 326 carries for 1,384 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also had 38 receptions for 292 yards and one touchdown.  

In his lone season in Seattle, he appeared in 11 games with zero starts. He had 31 carries for 125 yards and a touchdown. He also had 11 receptions for 84 yards.
