The Galaxy face FC Dallas at 3:30 pm EST on Saturday.
“I’m worried because [Ibrahimović didn’t practice] yesterday or today,” Galaxy head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto said on Thursday to the media. “Yesterday, it was very dangerous, for the rain, and the field was underwater. I’m worried because he couldn’t train today.
“We talk more now with him maybe. I don’t know (what will happen) in Dallas. I hope to bring him to Dallas, but I don’t know.”
In his Galaxy career, he has 23 goals through 28 games. He suffered an Achilles tendon injury in the Galaxy’s season-opener in a 2-1 win over the Chicago Fire.
Through one game, he has one goal in five shots through one start. He also had two shots on goal.
Ibrahimović has made 28 appearances, including 25 starts, with the Galaxy. He has 23 starts and 10 assists on 121 shots, including 51 shots on goal, in 2,233 minutes.
