The Atlanta Legends won the battle of the two worst teams in the Alliance of American Football. The Legends defeated the Memphis Express, 23-20, on Sunday afternoon at Georgia State Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Legends improved to 2-3 on the season. Atlanta has won back-to-back games after losing the first three.
The Express fell to 1-4 on the season. Memphis has their one-game win streak end with this loss.

Legends quarterback Aaron Murray went 27 of 43 for 306 yards. He had one touchdown pass.
Tarean Folston had 11 carries for 83 yards and a touchdown. Folston also led the team with six receptions for 23 yards and a touchdown.
Express quarterback Zach Mettenberger went 9 of 17 for 181 yards. He had one interception.
Zac Stacy had 13 carries for 41 yards and two touchdowns. Stacy also led the team in receiving yards with two touchdowns and 45 yards.
The Legends outscored the Express 9-8 in the second half. Murray hit Folston for a two-yard touchdown reception. Younghoe Koo also made a 35-yard field goal.
Mettenberger scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown. Terrence Magee converted a two-point conversion.
Atlanta outscored Memphis 14-12 at halftime. Folston scored on a two-yard rushing touchdown. Murray hit Justin Thomas for a two-point conversion.

Koo made two field goals. He first made a 38-yard field goal. He also made a 25-yard field goal.
Stacy scored on a seven-yard rushing touchdown for the Express. He also scored on a three-yard rushing touchdown.
