The San Francisco 49ers will sign pending free agent linebacker Kwon Alexander. He will receive a four-year, $54 million deal.

Alexander was one of two Buccaneers defensive players, who were slated to become a free agent. Safety Chris Conte is the other free agent.
The 24-year-old Oxford, Alabama spent the last four seasons with the Buccaneers. He was a fourth-round draft pick by the Bucs in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Alexander made six appearances, including six starts. He had 45 tackles, including six tackles for a loss, and two quarterback hits.
Alexander also had 1.0 sack, two forced fumbles, and two pass deflections.
In his career, he made 46 starts with the Buccaneers. He had 380 tackles, including 31 tackles for a loss, and 17 quarterback hits.
He had 7.0 sacks, six interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown; six forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and 22 pass deflections.
