According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, free agent offensive tackle Trent Brown is expected to sign with the Oakland Raiders. He is expected to receive a four-year, $66 million deal.
Schefter said Brown will receive $36.75 million per season. In addition, Brown will become the highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history when he signs this contract.
He cannot officially sign his contract with the Raiders until March 13th at 4 pm.
Once he signs the team, he will be part of a flurry of deals by the Raiders. The team is expected to acquire Antonio Brown in a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers once the new league-year starts, as well.
