The Tennessee Titans acquired Ryan Tannehill in a trade with the Miami Dolphins on Friday. In addition, the Titans received a 2019 sixth-round draft pick.
The Dolphins received a 2019 seventh-round draft pick and a 2020 fourth-round draft pick.

Plus, the Titans are signing Tannehill to a one-year, $7 million deal. The Dolphins will be responsible for $5 million of that salary.
The Dolphins has had no intentions to keep Tannehill this off-season. He was expected to move on since the end of the season.
Miami struck out on signing free agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. The Dolphins are still in the market for a signal-caller.
In a corresponding move, the Titans release quarterback Blaine Gabbert on Friday.
The 30-year-old Big Spring, Texas native was the 8th overall pick by the Dolphins in the 2012 NFL Draft. He spent seven seasons with the team.
This past season, he made 11 appearances, including 11 starts. He went 5-6 in those starts.
Tannehill went 176 of 274 for 1,979 yards. He also had 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
Through 88 games, including 88 starts, he went 42-46 as a starter. He went 1,829 of 2,911 for 20,434 yards, including 123 touchdowns and 75 interceptions.
