2019 Hotshots vs. Apollos Week 6 preview

The Arizona Hotshots face the Orlando Apollos on Saturday night. Combined these two teams have seven wins.

The game will kick off at 8 pm EST at Spectrum Stadium in Orlando, Florida. The game will be broadcasted on AAF.com and the NFL Network.

The Apollos bring their undefeated streak into the contest. They are the only undefeated team in the entire league.

Orlando has a 5-0 record coming into this contest.

The Hotshots bring a 2-3 record into the game. After winning two straight games, Arizona has lost three straight games.

The team is presently the third-best team in the Western Coference. Both the San Antonio Commanders and the San Diego Fleet have better conference records with 3-2 marks.

This will be the first meeting between these two teams.

Apollos quarterback Garrett Gilbert leads the league in passing. He has gone 93 of 148 for 1,357 yards. He also has eight touchdowns.

D’Ernest Johnson is fifth in the league in rushing. He had 43 carries for 251 yards and a touchdown.

Charles Johnson leads the league in receiving yards. He has 29 receptions for 493 yards and two touchdowns.

Hotshots quarterback John Wolford is second in the league in passing. He has gone 82 of 136 for 1,026 yards. He also has 10 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Jhurell Pressley is third in the league in rushing. He has 62 carries for 286 yards.

Rashad Ross is second in the league in receiving yards. He has 24 receptions for 401 yards and six touchdowns.
