CCNY Beavers men’s basketball coach Paul Dail has resigned. He had been their head coach since the 2017-18 season.

Dail is not the only new head coach that the Beavers will have during the 2019-20 season. Jamie Angell, the women’s basketball coach, has stepped down, as well.

“I would like to thank Coach Angeli and Coach Dail for their commitment to their respective programs,” Director of Athletics Lydia V. Travis said.

This past season, the team had a 6-19 record. They also had a 6-10 conference mark.

They were 4-4 at home this season. However, they were 2-15 on the road.

Their season concluded with an 83-71 loss to the Lehman Lightning on Wednesday, Feb. 13 in the Bronx, New York.

In his first season with the school, Dial led his team to a 2-23 record. Both of their wins came in conference play, as the team went 2-14 overall within the conference.

The Beavers have not had a winning season since the 2016-17 season when the team went 17-10. That team also had a 12-4 conference record.
