Soccer coach Garry Grammer was reassigned within the El Paso Independent School District this week in El Paso, Texas. The EPISD also removed three principals, along with an assistant principal, and a school counselor from their roles.

Principal Randall Woods, along with his Assistant Principal Michael Paulino, were put on administrative leave, according to KVIA. In addition, counselor Susan Elias joined Grammer as being reassigned.

The four found out about their jobs being removed on March 15th. However, nothing took officially effect until Monday once the school returned from Spring Break.

Plus, Principal Fred Rojas was also reassigned by Jefferson High School due to a personnel matter. In addition, Principal Darren Cole was also reassigned by Terrance Hills Middle School.

El Paso Teachers Association’s Norma De La Rosa was stunned by the moves. She said to KVIA that she was not sure why the moves were made.

“There is that confidentially that needs to be maintained in order for it to be a fair and unbiased process,” saidDe La Rosa.

All have been replaced on an interim basis.
