Screamin’ Eagle Vance & Hines Harley Davidson rider Andrew Hines should buy real estate in Concord, North Carolina. He is the all-time winner at zMAX Dragway.
Hines won the NGK Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals on Sunday. He won from the second lane with a 6.831 at 198.17 mph pass.
In addition, this is Hines’ 50th career win in Pro Stock Motorcycle. He is now the all-time winner in the category.
“The day went pretty good. It got hotter and hotter which made it tougher and tougher,” Hines said. “Our crew is pretty good at persevering in different weather conditions and we had to do that all weekend long. Not one of those days was similar to the other.”
Plus, Hines has two wins of the three contested races in 2019. He also won the 50th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals on March 17th, while Hector Arana Jr. won the DENSO Auto Parts NHRA Four-Wide Nationals in Las Vegas on April 7th.
Hines now has seven wins all-time at zMAX Dragway. This was his first win in three-years, as he has won in 2016, 2015 (twice), 2014, 2013, and 2012.
Eddie Krawiec, Hines’ Screamin’ Eagle Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson teammate, was the runner-up. He went 6.858 at 197.68 mph. Lucas Oil rider Hector Arana Jr. was the third-place finisher, as he went 6.908 at 198.82 mph.
Ryan Oehler finished fourth. Oehler, who was appearing his first final round, went 6.959 at 196.27 mph.
