Cuban: nobody can beat Trump right now

During an interview with CNBC, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said that no Democratic candidate can beat current President Donald Trump “right now.” Trump will try to win re-election in 2020.

There are many Democratic candidates, who are attempting to run against Trump. One candidate is former Vice President Joe Biden.

“Politicians are the least trusted of every profession,” Cuban said in the interview. “If you look at why people voted for Donald Trump, in my opinion, first and foremost, it was because he wasn’t a politician.”

Cuban called the Democrats campaign proposals “headline porn” during the interview. He says that none of their policies would be “legislatively viable.”

He also admitted during the interview that he has considered running. However, he also said that it would have to be the right situation to run.

“It would take the perfect storm for me to do it,” he said.

Cuban mentioned Biden in his interview. He said that Biden is “smart” and “could do a decent job.”

Yet, he also admitted that no other candidates stood out to him.

Cuban, who also owns other businesses outside of the Mavericks and appears on hit TV show “Shark Tank,” said that if he did run for President, it’ll be as an independent. He said that he previously considered running in 2016 — and he felt like he could have beaten both Trump and former Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
