A former Palisades High School teacher and coach in Nockamixon Township, Pennsylvania was arrested recently. Christian Howard Willman, 39, was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting one student and sexting another student.
He has been charged with sexual assault by sports official, sexual contact with a student, criminal solicitation, corruption of minors, unlawful contact with a minor, and criminal use of a communication facility.
The incidents reportedly go back to 2013. That’s when the authorities believe he began having inappropriate conversations with a minor, who was a sophomore student at the time. He allegedly continued to talk to her through August 2014.
That’s when he allegedly asked her to come to his house to drink alcohol, according to the authorities. The police also said that he allegedly told the minor that his wife and children would not be present when she arrived.
Several years later in 2017, he allegedly began talking to another sophomore student with sexually explicit messages. Willman allegedly used a social media app to talk to this student — and allegedly communicated with her through the next year.
In 2018, he allegedly sexually assaulted her while the two were at Palisades High School.
“I was kind of shocked actually since he was a soccer coach,” Jeff Bryan told NBC10 Philadelphia. “He seemed like a decent enough teacher when I was there.”
The investigation continues into Willman by the authorities, who are asking for anyone else, who may have had contact with him in a sexual explicit way to contact them. Victims can call Trooper Christopher M. Cleveland at 215-766-5030.
The bail for Willman has been set at 10% of $4 million.
