According to US Weekly, Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons and his celebrity girlfriend Kendall Jenner have split up. Jenner said that she wanted to marry Simmons one day, but that is not happening now.

“It wasn’t so sudden,” a source explained to US Weekly. “Things have wound down between them. They aren’t seeing each other anymore.”

A second source told US Weekly that things happened recently.

“They were getting serious for a bit, but were starting to cool off recently,” the second source said to US Weekly. “They’re so busy doing their own things and realize they’re young and want to have fun.”

The two also split up back in September after dating for four months. Then, they got back together.

“Kendall just loves being with her friends,” another source said to US Weekly. “That’s her main priority right now. She has a small group and doesn’t stray. She knows who to trust and who not to. She’s young!. All she wants to do is go out and party with her friends with no drama.”

Jenner and her mother Julie attended 76ers games after they decided to reconcile.

Simmons can focus on his jump shot now that he does not have to be focusing on juggling both this summer. He has been criticized for two seasons that he does not have a jump shot — or can’t shoot at all.

He will have to put in a lot of work this summer before the 76ers get back together to prove people wrong with their criticism.
