Andrew Hines is on a torrid pace. He has now won five out of the last seven Pro Stock Motorcycle races this season.
Hines defeated his Screamin’ Eagle Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson teammate Eddie Krawiec in the final round of the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals. Hines went 6.895 at 196.99 for the Wally at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
Krawiec went 6.967 at 196.64 mph in the losing effort.
In fact, Hines has a 21-2 round record this season. His only two losses came to Andi Rawlings at the Route 66 Nationals at Elwood, Illinois.
He also lost at Las Vegas 1 when he lost in a pairing with Hector Arana Jr. and Matt Smith.
Prior to this final round meeting, Krawiec had a 31-22 advantage against Hines in prior events. He also held a 14-11 advantage against Hines in final rounds.
Hines had the starting line advantage against Krawiec. He never trailed, as he won by 0.0792 seconds, or approx. 23 feet.
The Indiana native won the Wally for the 53rd time in his career with this win.
