Sprint Car driver McKenna Haase will be trading in her racing gear on Monday. She will be still competing against others, just not on a race track.

However, she’ll be changing gears as she will be competing on American Ninja Warrior. You can catch her in action on Monday night at 8 pm EST on NBC.

“It was definitely one of the coolest experiences of my life,” Haase said. “It was awesome. I started to do Ninja training to train for racing, then I ended up on the show. It was a huge honor. It was pretty much all body strength, as you were facing some pretty difficult obstacles.”

She will be part of the Seattle/Tacoma City Qualifier which will be episode 4 of Season 11. Due to the NHL playoffs going to Game 7 between the St. Louis Blues and the Boston Bruins, the episode was postponed a week.

This will be the first time that American Ninja Warrior will have a qualifier in this area. She will be competing against Jessie Gaff, Meagan Martin, Lance “Cowboy Ninja” Pekus, and Sean Bryan, among others.

Her training for the show also helped her when she competed in her Sprint Car.

“It gives you better cardio,” she said. “Having good cardio and arm strength helps with the wheel. It also helps you with core and neck strength to battle the G-forces in racing.”

While she revealed little about the show, she did not say how she did on the episode.
