The Los Angeles Lakers continued their free agent spree on Saturday. After the league’s memorandum was lifted at 12:01 pm EST, DeMarcus Cousins found a new home.

He signed with the Lakers to a one-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

By signing with the Lakers, Cousins is able to be reunited with Anthony Davis. Both players previously played with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Davis was officially acquired by the Lakers on Saturday in a blockbuster deal with the Pelicans. Davis, among other teammates, had to convince Cousins to sign with the Lakers.

The big man was also considering a deal with the Miami Heat.
