Parts Plus/Laris Motorsports Insurance Top Fuel pilot is the provisional No. 1 qualifier on Friday at the NHRA New England Nationals at New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire. The Drummonds, Tennessee native went 3.795 at 326.71 mph to claim the provisional lead.
He will attempt to capture his second No. 1 qualifying spot of the season. If his time is able to hold up on Saturday, it’ll be his 22nd No. 1 qualifier of his career.
In addition, it would be his first No. 1 qualifier of the season.
“The guys were definitely frustrated,” Millican said. “But I felt like the best thing I could do was stay out of the way and know that they were going to take care of it.
