Hardy — who was born and raised in North Carolina — is recovering from a knee injury. He had surgery earlier this year.

When he recovers from his injury, he should reunite with his brother Matt to form The Hardy Boyz, a very popular wrestling tag team that has won multiple tag team championships in the WWE, TNA, and other wrestling organizations.

Hardy was also arrested in North Carolina last year and drinking was also a factor in that incident. He reportedly blew a 0.25 BAC at the time of the incident.

Hardy last appeared in a match on July 10th. Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated AJ Styles and Hardy at the WWE Smackdown LIVE TV Show. This took place at the SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire.

His last win came in a Dark match for the WWE United States title. That’s when he defeated The Miz during the WWE 2015 LIVE show at the SNHU Arena.
