Washington Wizards are close to offering guard Bradley Beal to a contract extension. It is reportedly a three-year, $111 million deal.
Beal can be offered the contract extension beginning on Friday, according to Wizards GM Tommy Sheppard, who informed ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
“At the very first moment allowed, we are going to offer Bradley the full max extension,” Sheppard said.

Beal is one of the two cornerstone players for the team. However, this upcoming season is expected to be Beal’s show.
His Teammate John Wall is not expected to play this season due to an injury.
The 26-year-old St. Louis, Missouri native has spent his entire career with the Wizards. He was the team’s third overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.
This past season, he appeared in 82 games, including 82 starts. He averaged 25.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.7 blocks in a career-high 36.9 minutes per game.

The 25.6 points per game was a career-high. His previous high came during the 2016-17 season when he averaged 23.1 points per game.
In fact, over the past two seasons, he has started all 164 games.
