Blazers re-sign McCollum through 2023-24

The Portland Trail Blazers have the-signed CJ McCollum has agreed to an extension. He has agreed to a three-year, $100 million deal.

McCollum will see this extension pick in with the 2021-22 season. The Blazers owe him $57 million over the next two seasons before the extension starts.

With the Blazers, he has developed into a Star. He is one of the best reliable scorers in the entire league.

McCollum and Damian Lillard are the two best players on the Blazers roster. Lillard also re-signed with the franchise this summer to a four-year, $196 super max deal.

The duo helped guide the Blazers to their first Western Conference Finals since 2000. The Golden State Warriors defeated the team in a four-game sweep before losing to the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Finals.

McCollum was the team’s 10th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. He was the league’s Most Improved Player in 2016.
