According to KDKA in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Pittsburgh Steelers home Stadium will have a new name in 2021. The naming rights with Heinz Field will expire then.

The report said Heinz is not expected to renew their naming rights deal. When the naming rights were purchased, Heinz paid $57 million at the time.

“Kraft Heinz and the Pittsburgh Steelers have enjoyed a long and beneficial relationship over the past 18 years,” the statement said to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. “Both organizations are committed to the partnership for at least the next two seasons and we look forward to ongoing discussions related to the future.”

Heinz Field is primarily used in the fall as the home of the Steelers and the Pittsburgh Panthers, who play college football there. This stadium played home to Steelers and Panthers games since 2001 when Three Rivers Stadium was demolished.

In addition, the Stadium also hosted the 2011 NHL Winter Classic between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Washington Capitals. Six years later, the Stadium also held a Coors Light Stadium Series game between the Penguins and one of their hated rivals in the Philadelphia Flyers.

In May 2019, the Stadium also hosted a Garth Brooks concert. More than 75,000 people attended this event — which is regarded as the biggest ticketed show in Pittsburgh history.
