The Arizona Cardinals have signed free agent wide receiver Michael Crabtree early Thursday morning. He received a one-year deal.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Two weeks ago, there was some speculation that he would sign with the Cardinals. However, he left without signing a contract following a workout.

Now, Crabtree officially joins the team. He joins a wide receiver corp that includes Larry Fitzgerald, including Christian Kirk, KeeSean Johnson, Andy Isabella and Hakeem Butler.

This will be Crabtree’s fourth NFL. He spent last season with the Baltimore Ravens.

He was released by the Ravens despite the fact that he started all 16 games for the team in 2018. He had 54 receptions for 607 yards and three touchdowns in his only season in Baltimore, Maryland.

As a member of the Ravens, his 607 receiving yards were third-best on the team. John Brown led the team with 715 yards, while Willie Snead had 651 yards.

Before joining the Ravens, he spent the majority of his career in the Bay Arena. He began his career with the San Francisco 49ers before signing with the Oakland Raiders.

Crabtree was one of the last remaining good free agents, who could bring value to their team.

The 31-year-old Dallas, Texas native has appeared in 141 games, including 138 starts. He has had 633 receptions for 7,477 yards and 54 touchdowns.

He also has three carries for 18 yards.
