Seahawks defeat Rams by one point in their 2019 Thursday Night Football meeting

The Seattle Seahawks dealt the Los Angeles Rams their second straight loss in one week. Both of the losses were in two different fashions.

One was in a blowout loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Then, on Thursday night, the Seahawks defeated the Rams in a nail-biter with a 30-29 win at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington.

Seattle improved to 4-1 on the season with the win. The Seahawks are now on a two-game win streak.

The loss dropped the Rams to 3-2 on the season. Before this two-game losing streak, the team was on a three-game win streak.

This was the closest game of the season for both teams.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson went 17 of 23 for 268 yards. He also threw four touchdown passes.

Chris Carson had 27 carries for 118 yards. Wilson also had eight carries for 32 yards.

Will Dissly had four receptions for 81 yards. Tyler Lockett had four receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown. DK Metcalf had two receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown, while Jaron Brown had two receptions for 36 yards.

Rams quarterback Jared Goff went 29 of 49 for 395 yards. He also threw one touchdown pass and one interception.

Todd Gurley II had 15 carries for 51 yards and two touchdowns.

Gerald Everett had seven receptions for 136 yards. Cooper Kupp had nine receptions for 117 yards and one touchdown. Robert Woods had five receptions for 48 yards, while Tyler Higbee had three receptions for 47 yards.

The Rams has a chance to win the game. However, Greg Zuerlein missed the potential game-winning field goal attempt late in the game.

Both teams scored 16 points in the second half. Wilson hit Carson for a five-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. The two-point pass conversion attempt failed.

Wilson also hit Moore for a 10-yard touchdown reception. Jason Myers also made a 42 yard field goal attempt.

Gurley scored both of his touchdowns in the third quarter. He first scored on an eight-yard touchdown run, then added a one-yard touchdown later in the quarter.

Zuerlein also made a 36 yard field goal.

The Seahawks led 14-13 at halftime. Wilson hit Lockett for a 13-yard touchdown reception. Wilson also hit Metcalf for a 40-yard touchdown reception.

Goff hit Kupp for a nine-yard touchdown reception. Zuerlein also made two field goal attempts.
