The Seattle Seahawks suffered a blow on their offense on Sunday. The team was forced to play the rest of the game against the Cleveland Browns without tight end Will Dissley.
He departed the game with an injury. The Seahawks believe it will be a left Achilles tendon injury.
This is the second straight season that Dissley suffered an injury that cost him several months of rehabilitation. During the 2018 season, he suffered a torn patellar tendon in his right knee.
Following the injury, Dissly was down on the field for several minutes. He was eventually helped up and was moved to the medical tent on the sidelines.
Dissley was targeted once before leaving the game. He did not have a single reception in the contest.
In five games, including five starts, he had 23 receptions for 262 yards. He also had four touchdowns.
His best game of his sophomore season came in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints. He had six receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown in a 33-27 loss.
