Waller was in the final year of his contract with the Raiders. He is making $720,000 this season.

His new extension will kick in for the 2020 season.

The 27-year-old Landover, Maryland native was a sixth-round draft pick by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2015 NFL Draft. He played the first two seasons of his career with the Ravens.

Waller has spent the last two seasons with the Raiders. This season, though, it has been a breakthrough year for the former Georgia Tech player.

He has made five appearances, including five starts. He has 37 receptions for 359 yards.

He had a career-best performance in Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings in a 34-14 loss. Against the Vikings, he had 13 receptions for 134 yards.

Since that performance against the Vikings, he could only muster 92 yards in his last two games against the Indianapolis Colts and the Chicago Bears. He had 53 yards against the Colts in Week 4, then he had a season-low 39 yards against the Bears.
