Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Anthony Chickillo did not report to the team on Monday. He was told by team officials to stay home.
Chickillo was arrested on simple assault, harassment, and criminal mischief over the weekend. According to WTAE Pittsburgh, he was involved in an incident on Sunday in the early morning hours.
He allegedly got into an argument with his girlfriend, according to the authorities, at the Lady Luck Casino. Police said that the incident followed into their hotel room at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
The Steelers returned from their bye week on Monday. So far this season, Chickillo has been a barely-used backup.

When he played in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Chargers, it was the first-time he saw action since Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks. Chickillo appeared in 15 defensive snaps against the Chargers.
He also played 10 defensive snaps against the Seahawks. He played in a season-high 19 defensive snaps against the New England Patriots.
In his NFL career, he has appeared in 57 games, including nine starts. He has had 63 tackles, including 11 tackles for a loss, and 15 quarterback hits.
