A wide receiver has been traded for the second time on Tuesday. First, the New England Patriots acquired wide receiver Mohamed Sanu from the Atlanta Falcons.
The San Francisco 49ers acquired wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders during the afternoon. In exchange, the Denver Broncos received two draft picks.

The Broncos receive a 2020 third-round draft and a 2020 fourth-round pick. The 49ers also acquired a 2020 fifth-round draft pick in the deal.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the two teams wanted Sanders to play in their respective games on Sunday. He is reporting that the Broncos wanted Sanders to play against the Indianapolis Colts.
Schefter is also reporting that the undefeated 49ers wanted Sanders to play against the Carolina Panthers. Now, with this deal becoming official, he’ll get to play against the Panthers.
The 32-year-old Bellville, Texas native appeared in seven games, including seven starts. He had 30 receptions for 367 yards and two touchdowns.
With the 2-5 Broncos, Sanders was the team’s second leading receiver. Only Courtland Sutton had more with 36 receptions for 564 yards and three touchdowns.
In his final game with the Broncos, he had five receptions for 60 yards last Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. His best game of the season came in Week 4 in a 26-24 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars when he had five receptions for 104 yards.
Both of his touchdowns came in the first two weeks of the season against the Oakland Raiders and the Chicago Bears respectively.
