Denver Broncos quarterback Joe Flacco will miss a significant part of the second half of the season. He is expected to miss four-to-six weeks, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Flacco will miss Sunday’s game with a neck injury against the Cleveland Browns. After a second opinion, it was determined that he had a bulging disk in his neck.
Schefter is reporting that Flacco will not need surgery at this time. However, he will consult with two more doctors.
While Flacco is expected to miss at least a month, Brandon Allen will be the starter. Rookie Drew Lock will be the backup.
