The Race For The NBA Title

The new basketball season may have just got underway, but the race for the NBA title is already heating up. Several teams and players have laid down early markers for the rest of the campaign. Can the Golden State Warriors make back-to-back finals, or will the Los Angeles-based teams reign supreme?

According to bets.com.au, the LA Clippers are the current favorites. However, they will need to be at their best if they want to beat the Lakers and Bucks to the title. During this article, we’ll take an in-depth look at the potential champions. We’ll also include several NBA betting tips for good measure.

LA Clippers

The LA Clippers are the current favorites with most online betting sites. Doc River’s men made a fantastic start to the new season after picking up maximum points against the Lakers and Warriors. However, the Phoenix Suns surprised everyone when they beat the Clippers 130-122 at the end of October.

Having said that, we still believe that the Clippers can win their first NBA championship. Players like Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Lou Williams are some of the best in the business right now. If they can keep their key men fit for the remainder of the season, they should go close.

Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks haven’t won an NBA championship since 1971, but everyone involved with the franchise is convinced that they can turn their fortunes around. However, Mike Budenholzer’s side still has plenty of hard work ahead of them after losing to Miami Heat last time out.

Furthermore, the Bucks have several top-class players on their roster, including Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. They can beat any team on their day, but they will need to be consistent if they want to make the playoffs. We think they could go all the way.

LA Lakers

The Lakers have been the most dominant side in Los Angeles over the last decade, but could that be about to change? The 16-time championship winners will need to be at their best if they want to pip their city rivals to the post. The Lakers lost their opening game against the Clippers, but they have won all of their fixtures since.

What’s more, they have the greatest basketball player of all time in their ranks. LeBron James can turn a game on its head within minutes. This man will be central to their success this season. If he can avoid injury, they have a fantastic chance.
