Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Josh Gordon has been suspended by the NFL once again. He has violated the league’s performance-enhancing substances and substances of abuse.

When or if Gordon will return from this suspension, who knows? One year ago, he was suspended indefinitely by the league once again when he was a member of the New England Patriots.

The league ultimately let Gordon come back this season. In October, he was released by the Patriots after a short stint on injured reserve.

He was then claimed off waivers by the Seahawks. By going on IR, then being released, this caused the Patriots to allow his new team pay for his salary over the rest of the season.

During his career, the insanely talented wide receiver has been suspended by the league five times. His career could possibly be over because he could not stop his drug addiction.

The 28-year-old Houston, Texas native appeared in five games with the Seahawks, including one start. After being acquired, he had seven receptions for 139 yards.

On Dec. 15 against the Charlotte Panthers, he had one reception for 58 yards. Since being added to the Seahawks roster, he has not had more than two receptions in a contest.

His best game as a member of Seattle’s roster came on Sunday with his 58-yard reception. Before Sunday’s contest, his best game was two receptions for 34 yards against the Los Angeles Rams on Dec. 8.

Before being claimed off waivers, he appeared in six games, including six starts with the Patriots. He had 20 receptions for 287 yards and one touchdown.

His lone touchdown of the 2019 season came in the season-opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers when he had three receptions for 73 yards and one touchdown.
