Dallas Keuchel bet on himself. He took a one-year deal in June with the Atlanta Braves.
Several months later, he received a three-year deal from the Chicago White Sox. The contract is worth $55.5 million.
The 31-year-old Tulsa, Oklahoma native joins his third MLB team. Before signing with the Braves, he spent seven seasons with the Houston Astros.

With this move, he returns back to the American League. Six of his eight-year career has been spent in the AL (2013-2018).
During his one season with the Braves, Keuchel went 8-8 in 19 starts with a 3.75 ERA. He allowed 50 runs (47 earned runs), including 16 home runs over 115 hits in 112 2/3 innings.
He also struck out 91 batters and walked 39. Keuchel also had one intentional walk during the season.

Now, as a member of the White Sox, he joins a rotation that includes Lucas Giolito, as the ace of the staff. According to MLB.com, the rotation also includes Reynaldo López, Dylan Cease, and Dylan Covey.
