According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Beast Mode may come back to an NFL field near you. Marshawn Lynch has met with the Seattle Seahawks on Monday.
The two sides discussed a possible return. When he was a member of the Seahawks, he excelled with the franchise.
Rapoport says that the two sides have kept in touch. Lynch reportedly even made a visit to Seattle earlier this month.
The team downplayed the meeting, according to the report. Yet, Rapoport said “it planted a seed” for a reunion.
The Seahawks have three backs, who are out with season-ending injuries. Those backs include Chris Carson, Rashaad Penny, and C.J. Prosise.
Carson is out with a hip injury. Penny is out with a torn ACL, while Prosise is out with an arm injury.
Besides Lynch, the team is also reportedly considering C.J. Anderson. However, Lynch seems more likely as he is familiar with the team.
Beast Mode has not played this season. He last played for the Oakland Raiders last season.
