Philadelphia 76ers big man Joe Embiid will not be in the lineup for the foreseeable future. He tore a radical collateral ligament in his left hand.
He suffered the injury on Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Embiid’s finger was bent in an odd position.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Embiid will have surgery on Friday. He will be re-evaluated in 1-2 weeks.
With Embiid out of the lineup, the team will have to rely on Kyle O’Quinn and Norvel spells to receive significant playing time. They have yet to see action this month.
