Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antwaan Randle El’s brother is in serious trouble with the law. Marcus Randle El has been arrested by the authorities as the person of interest in two homicides.
He surrendered this past weekend. The 33-year-old Randle El surrendered to Chicago authorities on Saturday.
He has been charged with two first-degree intentional homicide charges.
Randle El allegedly shot Seairaha Winchester and Brittany McAdory. Both women were found by a passerby with multiple gunshot wounds in Janesville, Wisconsin on February 10th.
After arriving at the hospital, both women died.
According to the New York Post, he allegedly stole an SUV that belonged to one of the women. Following the shootings, he allegedly took the vehicle, before later crashing into a ditch in Justice, Illinois.
During the investigation, the authorities found video evidence that showed that the women were at a TA Express gas station. Police believe that Randle El was also there at near the same time and was scheduled to meet with them.
While the police believe that all three individuals knew each other, they are keeping much of the information in-house, as they not ruin their case against the alleged suspect.
Despite being arrested, Randle El has not confessed to the killings.
“Because it’s ongoing, we do have a good framework for that and we’d like to continue investigating that to determine what that is,” Janesville Lt. Charles Aagaard said, according to WKOW.
Randle El is expected to be extradited back to Wisconsin to face the charges against him.
